Historic Security Council - HSC

President Chairs

  • Hanna Badholm - President Chair

    Hello delegates!

My name is Hanna, and I am a junior at SSIS Suzhou. I’ve attended over 10 conferences in my MUN journey and take part in my schools MUN club every week. The very first conference I attended here in China was SHAMUN XXIIV specifically the historic security council. For me to be able to return to this esteemed event now as president chair is a great honor.

One of the parts that I love most about MUN is its ability to bring so many different people together in this global community.

My topic for this conference will be the Suez Canal crisis in 1956. I believe this is a topic that is crucial to revisit and remember. I can’t wait to see how all of you will tackle this issue differently.

I look forward to seeing all of you in October!

  • Alex TY Wang - Deputy President

    Hi everyone!

I'm Alex, a junior at SASPX. I've been involved in MUN since middle school, and have participated in numerous conferences both as a chair and as a delegate. For me, the best parts of every conference are always the people I meet and the places I go to: having been to various schools across Shanghai and as far as Ireland, I can confidently say that every experience has been uniquely memorable. I hope your experience at SHAMUN will be no different.

I'll be the Deputy President for HSC and will be focusing on the Libyan Civil War. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. See you in October!
