I am honoured to have the opportunity to act as your deputy chair for the upcoming SHAMUN XXII Security Council. As chair, I look forward to working with you all and facilitating your passionate debates. It is my hope that by the end of the event, all delegates will have gained newfound perspectives on global politics and greater interest in the discussion of contemporary issues. If you have any questions leading up to or during the event, please feel free to come up and ask me. Have fun everyone!”

  • President

    Danielle C.

“Dear delegates of the Security Council, I’m Danielle, a sophomore at Concordia. I started my MUN career in sixth grade, and would consider myself quite the “MUN addict”. In the past four years, I have been actively delegating and chairing conferences across the circuit, and have recently had the opportunity to staff Harvard MUN.

During this conference, we will be addressing the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, as well as the War in Darfur: Get ready to discuss content pertaining to Genocide, Civil Uprising, and Territorial Dispute. Brace yourself for the potential vetoes and debates that may arise throughout the conference. I hope that delegates will act with sensitivity and diplomacy.

On another note, I have personally visited the West Bank, Palestine, and I am excited to see all the resolutions and debates that you will compose. In the meantime, please reach out if you have any questions, and I look forward to seeing you all very soon.”
