President Chairs

  • Nini L. - Deputy President

Hi fellow delegates! My name is Nini, an IB 1 student from Huili School Shanghai. I've done debate and activism related work for multiple years, and this is my second year as a MUNer. Growing up, issues relating to gender equality, migrant worker rights, racial discrimination etc. presented themselves as problems that are closer to humanity. As a child and now as a teenager, I can visualize these problems, and really try and implement the solutions in MUN conferences in real life situations. I've been awarded outstanding/best delegate several times, and I'm so grateful for this opportunity to co-chair the human rights committee. I did most of my research on "establishing effective frameworks to investigate and eliminate international slave trafficking and forced servitude", and I am looking forward to exploring this topic even further with fellow delegates!

  • Kelly L. - President

    Greetings, all delegates!

My name is Kelly, and I am a junior at SASPX. I have been involved in MUN since 6th grade and have participated in 12 conferences since then - for SHAMUN XXIII, I am honored to serve as the President of the Human Rights Council.

MUN has been a part of my student life for the past 6 years, and I have never regretted a single moment of it. Through this activity, I shared so many memories with other delegates, chairs, admin staff, and secretariats - and I have no doubt that this year's SHAMUN will be yet another opportunity to do so for me and all of you.

Hopefully, this year's SHAMUN will become another special and memorable part of your MUN career - looking forward to meeting you all at the conference!

  • Ida J. - Deputy President

Hey guys! I’m Ida, and as one of the Vice Presidents for HRC, it is my utmost pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all of you attending the upcoming conference. I have over 3 years of MUN experience, participating in both international and school conferences, and I’m thrilled to be part of this transformative journey alongside each and every one of you. Having walked the path of MUN myself, I understand the struggles many of you guys might face throughout conferences. But all the chairs will be there for you, so feel free to reach out to me at any time if you have questions!

Can’t wait to see you all!
