  • Seungheon (Jay) Lee - President Chair

    Hello everyone!

    My name is Seungheon (Jay) Lee, and I am a Grade 12 student at Concordia. I am truly honored to serve as the President of the General Assembly 4 for the upcoming SHAMUN XXIV conference.

    I have been involved in various MUN conferences since Grade 7. From participating in various conferences, I was able to build leadership and confidence, and these skills helped me to become a positively influencing person in the community I belong in. This year will be my last SHAMUN and I truly anticipate seeing how each of you will collaborate and yield the most feasible and efficient resolution in the conference.

    The topic I will be focusing on will be “addressing Israeli settlement activities affecting the rights of the Palestinian people and others of the occupied territories.” I hope the chairs and delegates can enjoy the conference together so it can be the best I have ever had in my MUN career. I am truly excited to meet everyone at SHAMUN XXIV – see you all there!

  • Jenna Han - Deputy President

    Hello delegates!

    My name is Jenna, and I am a current sophomore attending SASPX. I am honored to serve as the Deputy President for General Assembly IV in SHAMUN XXIV.

    I have been involved with MUN since the beginning of middle school, attending various conferences both online and offline that have allowed me to grow as a collaborator, writer, leader, and speaker. MUN has shaped many unforgettable memories for me, and it is an activity I have always held an immense passion for.

    My topic of specialization for this conference will be the situation of stability and human rights in Haiti. This pressing and highly relevant issue requires multifaceted approaches to be resolved, and I am excited to see the various creative ideas you come up with in this conference.

  • Claire Hsu - Deputy President

    Honorable Chairs and fellow delegates of GA4!  

    I am Claire Hsu, a current sophomore in SASPX and I will be joining all of you as Deputy Chair in SHAMUN this year! I have been involved in MUN since 8th grade and have attended multiple conference both as a delegate and a chair. MUN has also shaped part of my identity by showing growth in areas such as leadership, communication and effective collaboration with other delegates!  

    MUN is an activity that holds various values which has developed my infinite passion for this activity, thus I would like to bring this on to all of you guys by assisting all delegates in the upcoming conference SHAMUN. The topic I will be specializing in this conference will be Addressing the effects of atomic radiation and nuclear waste. This is a topic that has been grabbing attention quite recently and requires large amounts of communication and collaboration between countries in resolving this issue.
