Deputy President
Ethan R.
“My name is Ethan. I am currently in 7th grade and have been at SAS for 8 years. I recently joined MUN in 2022 and have taken a great liking to it. I am looking forward to all the adventures that await me in upcoming conferences and am extremely excited to be a chair after only such a brief time participating in MUN. I find myself able to have great fun and learn much from this and hope this will continue. I very much look forward to this conference and chairing the ECOSOC committee.“

President
Annie D.
“Hello everyone! My name is Annie and I am honored to serve as a chair for ECOSOC. I am currently a high school junior at SSIS, and this will be my 4th time chairing.
In retrospect to the beginning of my Model United Nations journey, I have grown tremendously as a student, debater, and leader. Not only did MUN expand my vision and elevate my thinking, it also taught me to be confident, bold, and curious.
In SHAMUN XXII, I look forward to seeing individuals challenging themselves and stepping out of their comfort zones. With that being said, I sincerely hope ECOSOC will serve as a place for individual growth and potential to flourish. See you all in October! “

Deputy President
Kelly L.
“Hello delegates, my name is Kelly L. and I am a current sophomore at SAS Puxi - it is an honor to serve as your deputy chair for ECOSOC of SHAMUN this year. MUN conferences were and are one of the best parts of my high school life - since middle school, I have participated in multiple conferences and have built upon my own MUN experiences. I believe that MUN conferences are an opportunity to interact with a diverse group of people and have no doubt that SHAMUN will be another great chance to do so. Throughout the few days of the conference, all delegates, chairs, admin, and the secretariat will be sharing yet another memory - and I hope this conference can be remembered as another special part of your MUN career. Looking forward to meeting you all at the conference!”
